Salve Regina has a prelicensure bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) program and an RN-to-BSN completion program for existing registered nurses (RNs). St Joseph offers a hospital diploma program that qualifies students as registered nurses upon successful completion. The annual tuition at this private Catholic school is $16,786. St Joseph’s offers a comprehensive financial aid program, and prospective students can apply for a range of available scholarships.
University of Rhode Island
This public university offers a prelicensure BSN, a master of science in nursing (MSN), and two doctoral nursing programs. Annual tuition for full-time in-state students can be as low as $10,878, excluding miscellaneous costs. The university offers three distinct types of financial aid: grants, loans, and work-study employment.
